Hello and happy Friday, yay!

Today I'm sharing one of my creations I did during the Mixed Media pARTy few weeks ago. This is an art journal spread from Anna Rogalska's workshop which I enjoyed very much. Ok, to be honest, I enjoyed all the workshops very much!

Hi there! Today I'm sharing my workshop projects from Mixed Media pARTy. 

The first on was made during Aida Domisiewicz workshop. I had so much fun using gesso and coloring everything blue and turquoise. She has magical touch, really unique way to use mediums and create textures. She loves textures, and I think it shows in my work as well.

The next one was made during Olga Heldwein workshop. My hands got a gel medium bath and I even found some from my hair - so yes, we used a lot of mediums to create really dimensional tree. Olga is so passionate, she is fun and easy person to be with. And she know a lot of things. About everything.

Last one is a layout made in Anna Rogalska's workshop. I have never used that much of flowers! It was fun to experiment, and use things a lot differently that I've used to. For example, using mists as they are designed to: spraying! Ha, so much fun.

I learned a lot. I discovered a lot. And had a lot of fun. Did I mention that I really had fun and enjoyed every moment!?

I. Don't. Like. To. Waste. Anything. 

That's why I have made a lot of simple cards lately. This is a good example. It was made during my workshop at Mixed Media pARTy. All students were finishing their work and we had some spare time, so I picked up all scraps I had laying around my working area and turn it into a card.

It was quick process. Some stamping on the background, then paper cluster and sentiment on top. Some paints and inks to give color, and that's it. So relaxing, so effective, and everybody loves cards, right?

Happy Monday everyone! First of all, let me say thank you. THANK YOU! I've received so many encouraging comments here in my blog as well as in all other social media channels, and I'm so happy that you have gave me some feedback. Please do so in the future, too. I'm grateful!

Grateful is a good word for today. I posted my Mixed Media pARTy projects over at 13arts blog today, here (link), and now I'm sharing this first layout here as well.

I made it as a sample layout during my workshop, Layers&Details, and I'm happy how it turned out. I'm even happier that I saw fifteen other layouts made with my style and they all were magnificent, all unique. And all with white background so yes, I was in heaven for a while, haha.

Later this week I will show you what I created during other workshops, so please stay tuned.

Hello! Last weekend was - well, one of the best of all times. I had a huge privilege to be one of the teachers during Mixed Media pARTy. The event was from Friday to Sunday 23th - 25th October 2015 in Poland, near to Wroclaw in Agropadja. Here's the link for 13arts blog to read more about it if you're interested.

I'm having some difficulties to find words to describe my feelings and thoughts about the weekend. I could write a lot of basis, what we did and what we ate, how we slept (or at all..) and how many glasses of wine I drank - but instead I want to say how I'm thankful and grateful, obviously, and feeling very blessed and honored. Part of me is thinking that this was it, this was my moment to shine and my moment to travel to unknown country and see not only the country but also the beautiful and inspiring people there. The other part feels that this was the start for my great journey, that this was the first part of bigger plan. 

I will accept it both ways, but of course I hope I can spread my message of scrapbooking happiness all over the world one day - in my way.

This weekend opened my eyes. I learned a lot during Aida's, Olga's and Anna's classes and it was great to see three different ways to teach - and learn how they do their magic. The weekend confirmed that if I could, I would love to take a class from every single scrapbooker this world has. We all have so unique style, to play with colors, textures, patterns, papers, embellishments...

I could ask why now, why this weekend, why and what things there made me feel this, but to be honest the greatest lesson I learned is that I can believe in myself. I can do it. I can go, I can enjoy, I can teach (even in English!), and I can be the way I am. Nothing less or nothing more.
