Hello there!

Sorry about this big number of photographs, but at least I have a good reason for it. Creative Journey - Matka Luovuuteen event was in Finland last weekend, and oh boy it was something!
Here are three projects I made during the first three classes, and the fourth, my favorite will be posted separately, just because it was so cool! If you want to see it now, see my blog post over at 13arts blog, here.

I was one of the organizers for the event, and that's why I had the change to join all the classes. I made the doll before, as well as the notebook cover too, but still it was fun and I learn made new ways to use familiar 13arts products. Big thank you for Aida and Olga for coming to Finland!
Hope you like the projects. They are not my style, not what I'm used to do, but creating was really wonderful.

Thank you for stopping by today, see you soon!

Hi!

Lately all I've done has been simple papercraft creation with a really small amount of any mixed media, so having a full size inspiration to create a canvas felt quite happy and expected. But also really hard! The touch of wet gesso in my hands didn't feel the same so I needed really work with getting my mood "on".

Last visit to Poland was still on my mind, so the barbie workshop with Olga inspired me to take all broken barbies from my daughters and cut their heads off. And cut the heads in half. And glue them on to canvas.
And the rest is all coloring, experimenting new 13arts products like Shiny Powders.
So fun!

Thanks for popping in!

Hey! Last Sunday gave an opportunity to join a new challenge over 13arts blog. This month is all about home decorating, so the challenge is to create something to your home. There's a mood board to get you going.
My home decor piece is a small canvas. It is simple, quite flat but still sweet, made specially for my goddaughter to remind her to believe in her dreams. She is four now, so the I hopes she keeps this one and discovers it later in her life. Now it can be in her room, I mean who four year old wouldn't love fairies and pastel colors!?

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello all! This canvas was up on 13arts blog yesterday, here (link). It's been a while since I've done a canvas, but it was so much fun to do it - for a very special reason.
I got asked to teach a canvas workshop for a little group of women, I absolutely said yes. You know, I love teaching. So the other Sunday these five amazingly talented ladies joined me in my home to learn basics of mixed media. Not that our kitchen table (with a small tailpiece) would have been the best possible place to have a workshop, but it was good enough. And I'd do it again if anyone asks, it was so easy for me because I didn't need to carry my products anywhere: next house will definitely include a classroom.
So thank you ladies, I had a blast!

This canvas, as said, was a perfect project for basic mixed media. There is stencil work, different medias, gesso in three ways, embellishments, coloring with mists, all the basics you need to know.

Hope you liked it. Have a great weekend!

Hello! You know I love pretty things. Cute things. And beautiful colors. And white! Well, the idea of combining two of my passions, mixed media and pretty things (aren't those the same) gave me messy hands and in a moment this piece was born.
As with the bouquet (Flowers Are Forever, link) this will be another workshop theme as well. It's a perfect project to get the knowledge of basic mixed media, and it's great opportunity to learn interesting details about creating textures and beautiful details. To make it even more interesting, the
canvas size is only 15cm x 15cm, so it's teeny tiny small and will be lovely little color maker for your home.
So if you're interested, contact me! All other workshop examples are in Workshops tab (link).

This workshop will be also in Mixed Media pARTy (link) - get your spot now and we'll see you there :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi there! Today I'm sharing my workshop projects from Mixed Media pARTy.
The first on was made during Aida Domisiewicz workshop. I had so much fun using gesso and coloring everything blue and turquoise. She has magical touch, really unique way to use mediums and create textures. She loves textures, and I think it shows in my work as well.
The next one was made during Olga Heldwein workshop. My hands got a gel medium bath and I even found some from my hair - so yes, we used a lot of mediums to create really dimensional tree. Olga is so passionate, she is fun and easy person to be with. And she know a lot of things. About everything.
Last one is a layout made in Anna Rogalska's workshop. I have never used that much of flowers! It was fun to experiment, and use things a lot differently that I've used to. For example, using mists as they are designed to: spraying! Ha, so much fun.

I learned a lot. I discovered a lot. And had a lot of fun. Did I mention that I really had fun and enjoyed every moment!?

These were on 13arts blog the other day, here (link).
Thank you for stopping by!

Hi all! We have a new challenge over at Creative Embellishments blog. I was inspired by the happy thought our inspiration picture (above) brought to my mind. I used a lot of chipboards from Creative Embellishments store, left overs from Titles & Quotes & Sayings section. And used only PanPastels to color up my canvas.
You can see the whole creation process from the video above.

I hope you'll have a great day!

Materials used: Creative Embellishments, 13@rts, PanPastel, TCW, Prima Marketing.
