Scrapbooking | Happy Things

Heyheyhey! I got a huge inspiration when I saw March challenge over at More Than Words. There's a word inspiration "bliss" and creative challenge "gesso" and both of those should be used on the same layout. So fun and inspiring!
I chose to scrap one of my favorite photos of myself. I was happy then and it shows, very blissful and happy memory to write down and add to an album. As the chalenge says, gesso must be used, so I used two different gessos on the layout. Clear one on the background and then thick black gesso through a stencil to create those nice circles. Same black gesso was used to create the splashes, I just made it more liquid by mixing it with water. Of course I could have used inks or mists, but if the challenge asks one thing, I was willing to do it all with gesso.
Did I already mention that is was fun to do this? Well, I had a blast!

Thank for stopping by!
