CSI 145: This moment.

Hello all and happy Saturday! It's time for new CSI case file (145). My whole layout is based on the first evidence: mixed media background. Recipe for that is gesso, black ink, paintbrush, stencil and stamps.
You might remember my layout few weeks ago to CSI case file 143? I used the same technique with it, for its first layer. But if you compare those two layouts, you can see how different the atmosphere is! So, the background is very important for your layout but so is all the rest, too.
This case file tells about my girls plays. The picture is from last summer. Those two sweethearts sat on the stairs and pretended to be in fancy coffee house somewhere in England - London I suppose, because that's the only city they know from England. They had their plastic cups and plates, and there they sat for like half an hour and talked like they imagined posh English people to talk. How cute is that!? And from where those thoughts and plays came?
Evidence: Mixed media background, wings, stamps, stencil.
Testimony: Inspiration words (all three: if, imagine and faith).
Have a great weekend!

Materials used: American Crafts, Tim Holtz, Lucky 7 Factory, Creative Embellishments, Hero Arts, Rayher, My Mind's Eye, Studio Calico, Echo Park, Liquitex, Doodlebug Designs.

  1. All the contents together like that on your layout seems to formed a nice big heart. I'm not sure if you were aiming to make it that way, but it looks really nice. Love the two butterflies wings peeking behind from the photos.
