Hey!

Every now and then I have had #sponsored opportunities to try out new products, sometimes I like them and sometimes not. From day one I've decided to not post about anything I don't actually like. Sometimes I see post online about products that had to be mentioned, but obviously the one posting it doesn't really believe in the product.
Don't want that for me. If I tell you something, it has to be good.

So. This time I opened a package with my name on it and found this beautiful dark wood and black Letterboard from DCWV.
It comes with small-ish alphas in white and it's gorgeous! Other words, like the ones coming with bigger letterboards are combatile with this smaller letterboard so compouding words from different packages works perfectly!

To show you this letterborad I wanted to write something else than just "Love DCWV" on it, and I ended up with a phrase I found online some time ago. Actually the phrase was longer, but with keeping the idea I took some words out and made a bit shorter. You'll get the idea.
The phrase ins't the most cheerful, but the meaning is. It's now on my crafty shelf in our temporary apartment telling me everything is going to be ok eventually.

Stickers and die-cuts are from Pink Paislee 'Whimsical' collection.

Hope you like it!

Oh, and DCWV Letterboards are available at JoAnn's!

Hello!

Once a month Create A Smile has a release for new products. New products means happy me, as this month of October too - see the snowflake stamp on the background? It's called Snowflake Whispers and it is so beautiful! See the full release over here.
There is also stamping on top of the photograph, embossing actually, and I really loved that phrase. My sweet horse friends are really much more better than any Unicorns ever.

Have a happy day, and thanks for coming over!

Happy new week for all!

My day to shine over at Create A Smile stamps blog, here is link to original post. I wanted to use Funky Feathers stamps somehow with this gorgeous photograph, and during creating I ended up with Dreamcatcher look. And I love it.
Maybe these pretty, romantic and sweet papers I got from DCWV helped a bit.

Enjoy the video above, see you soon!

Hi there!

Last spring I had opportunity to do some guest designing for Polish chipboard manufacturer Wycinanka, as well as for paper manufacturer DCWV from US.
I had some of their products left, and as I liked them both, I wanted to create something just for fun. So I took one of my favorite snapshots, my lovely friend Aida together with me, and did a layout around it. The pic was taken a year ago, during the first Mixed Media pARTy in Poland, with 13arts.

Thanks for popping in! I'll share something more tomorrow.

Hello all, how are you?

Today I'm sharing my huge privilege to be a Guest Designer for Scrap the Girls challenge. Scrap the Girls in Australian challenge blog with monthly challenges, and I feel very grateful to be asked to guest design for their gorgeous August challenge!

The August Moodboard above is full of blues, and that's color I started the layout with. But somehow during the creation process, the colors turned more turquoise. Maybe the green in the picture made me feel more turquoise. And of course the lovely papers I got from DCWV. But the word "wish" stayed in my mind during the whole process. I really do wish my girls will stay as playful as they now are, as long as possible.

What inspires you in the moodboard? Read the rules how to participate, and leave your creation here in Scrap the Girls blog.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hey and happy Monday. Even though it is Monday and it rains a lot here, I'm feeling happy. Some time ago I read that happiness in a state of mind, it's something you choose to be, not something that comes because of what happens in life.
It is not easy to decide, but I get the point and doing my best to be happy. To feel the happy things around me. And when I reach the feeling, it's the best!

Even in the hardest decisions can make you feel happy, and that is why I chose to make the most cheerful and happy page as my last scrapbook page for Create A Smile. Leaving our little Create A Smile family was hard, I really enjoyed my time there and you know how much I have love creating with CAS products. But to get something, you need to give something. This time I wanted to have some time, and in order to have that extra time, I needed to give away my place over at CAS design team. This is a good place to mention that I always work in advance - so this decision was made months ago and I already have enjoyed my extra time - working in my day time job even more!
I started in a new job in the beginning of February, and the start have been quite rushy but calming down already, so the extra time has been what I needed.
Funny thing is that I already miss more scrapbooking, and fortunately I have my worktable home and can spend nights scrapping just for me. And it feels so good and healthy!

Anyway, Create A Smile has released their new goodies, and I used the new stamp set called "Aloha Spirit" to create this cheery layout. I hope you like it, and don't forget to spy all other April arrivals from Create A Smile blog!

Hey hey! Yesterday I shared a home decor piece I created for my goddaughter, and today I'm sharing something made for myself. This is a 11,5"x18" heavy cardstock which will be added into a frame later, just haven't found the perfect frame yet, and the size is an issue as well. But I made this to my office, to remind me every day to stay humble and work hard, just as it says. Sometimes life (well, work) is so busy that I almost forgot to keep the high quality line to reach to the level I want to keep.
As said, this is made for my office, so I wanted to keep the white and harmony style.

Thanks for stopping by, we'll see you soon!

Hello! Giving any presents for your adult friends can be tricky. We all have so much material in our houses, no need for new household items and I always avoid giving something useless. Present cards for hairdresser or theater could be fun, but then comes the financial issue. So, why not to give your artwork. It is special, and make especially for the receiver.
One of my dearest friends just had her birthday, and I gave her a self-made lanyard - in a box I made myself! Isn't it nice, and kind of highlights the present - and actually the box is part of the present and could be used again. It looks nice in a shelf too.
DCWV send me their new DIY Stack: Paint&Create - Heart of Gold, and this project is completed with it (expect the bloom). There was the watercolors included, so all I needed was glue and water. Super easy way to get creative.
This box was revealed over at DCWV Instagram - here.

Hope you liked this one!
