Hello all! I love green! And June Words & Paintery colors are full of greens. I simply couldn't resist to join.
I picked up a green toned picture - there is me and Lotte (the horse), and as the June words reminded me about things that opens my mind I thought to journal something about my passions. First is obviously doing crafts and photographing, but the other is horses. Even though taking care of horses takes a lot of time and strength, it also gives a lot. And every day I learn something new, my mind is has to be opened for new things.

Thanks for popping in today!

Hey there! Here is my layout for Words&Paintery April challenge. Even though I have really loved playing with Words&Paintery challenges, this will be my last for Words&Paintery Design Team. You know how it goes, life goes on, new adventures lies ahead and so on.
Big thank you for lovely Marie for having me there, I appreciate it so much!
The colors we have this month reminded me about my younger one, Mea. She loves yellow, if she could decide, she'd wear only yellow, she'd eat only yellow things such as bananas or pineapples and she would play with only yellow things :D That's why I took the yellow as my main color and journaling tells about her happy attitude.

Thank you for stopping by today :)

Hi there! Today we have a new challenge over at Words&Paintery challenge blog. This time I found the colors a bit challenging, but I won those dark reds and blue by working with them on white background. The words in this challenge are from Bruce Springsteen's song, that reminded me about the songs by daughters loves to hear and how much they enjoy of dancing.
The picture is from our cruise last fall. The ship's nightclub was empty in the afternoon, but we had disco lights on and music playing - perfect for my girls!
It was fun and happy moment.
Now, if you are looking for mixed media challenge, this is for you. Use the colors in any creation you want to do and be inspired by the words. Link your creation to Words&Paintery blog and win prizes!

Have a happy Sunday, I'm off to outside to enjoy the sun!

Hello all! We have a new challenge open over at Words&Paintery blog, here!
I obviously used all three colors, love how springy they look! And I decided to play with the words by thinking my daughters life. "Embrace the Past" - embracing their childhood.
That picture is precious for me, I took it last summer in our backyard and I love the way they both look so extremely happy! And why wouldn't they, they had their favorite dresses on, sun was shining and mommy treated them with delicious soy ice cream.

Have a lovely day!

Hey! I can't get enough of this photo! It was taken on a river cruise in London, Thames river was a great way to see London sights. We were taking photos of each others with my hubby, when a kind lady asked if she can help and take our picture. So there is helpful and kind people in the world!!
Anyway, that kind lady took a few pics and this is one of them. I can proudly say I'm looking good in the picture and so does my hubby. Good times!
This layout is for CSI CC-4, in collaboration with Words&Paintery!
Evidence: 3 of something, stars, texture paste.
Testimony: Today is the 1st day...
Oh, and let me explain my journaling theme. I thought "today is the 1st day..." is perfect fit with the pic as that was our first journey together and first day abroad together. Yep, we've been over seven years married, and our trip to London in last September was the first journey together.

Thanks for popping in here today!

Hello! Need a challenge with mixed media? Hop on to Words&Paintery and give it a try, it's easy. Use those two colors shown above (white, grey, blue) and somehow include the words ("this is the first day of the rest of your life") to your creation. It can be a scrapbook layout, canvas, art journal page, card, altered item or even a home decor object if you just use those colors and words.
My layout is kind of a New Year resolution: To start again if something doesn't work out.
Like in the world of paper crafts, no need to struggle if something isn't working, I can throw the paper away and start a new one. Or as in the world of horses: If my lovely ride won't do things the way I asked, I'll try again just as many times as it finally goes well.
For me it's not that easy, as said... I like to do things to the very end, so I'm faced with a challenge.

Now hop on to Words&Paintery and see what the rest of our Creative Team has created!
